Spicy Garlic Shrimp with Egg Noodle
Asian spaghetti… with a BANG!
Relatively healthy dish (no meat, vegetable, and spicy is actually good for you), but best of all it doesn’t take that long to make.
Satay diced mushroom, onions, garlic in oil (I use grapeseed, healthy and high-temp)
Add Shrimp (cleaned, without the shell, and deveined)
Add green onion and “spicy sauce” (I can’t disclose this info, but just add whatever you have.. chili oil, chili garlic sauce you can find at pho places, siracha, hell why not even Tabasco)
Boil egg noodle on the side while you do this.
When the noodle is ‘almost done’ strain it out and dump it into the shrimp vegi mixture with some of the noodle water.
Let that thing simmer until the water evaporates, starch water gets the sauce thicker, and the sauce infuses with the shrimp/garlic/spicy goodness.
Optional: a TOUCH of butter would make it richer and blend all the flavors together. I also recommend a BANG of sesame seeds if you have some lying around lol
Serve on a plate with green onion garnish.
